TOY CARE
How often should you replace dog toys?
Replace a toy when its condition makes it unsafe or unusable, not according to an arbitrary calendar.
Retire it when
- Pieces are loose or missing
- Sharp edges appear
- Stuffing or internal parts are exposed
- The toy is too small for the dog now
- Cleaning no longer restores it
Check often
High-intensity chewers may require checks during every play session. Follow the manufacturer’s care and replacement guidance.
